Festive Workshops with Adama Conteh
Festive workshops
Adama Conteh is a textile artist, facilitator and instigator. She is half Scottish, half Sierra Leonean and through making she looks to understand her cultural identity in more depth. Both the physical and digital realms are important in her workflow as she prioritises the process of making over the outcome. Adama recently obtained an MA in Textiles from The Royal College of Art.
Join Adama for two creative festive experiences designed to spark joy and community spirit.
On Friday, 5th December (6:30 – 8:30pm), take part in the Festive Fabric, Collage and Stitch Workshop, where you’ll create a unique fabric artwork inspired by what brings you Christmas joy, perfect to keep or gift.
On Saturday, 6th December (10:30am – 12:30pm), explore the art of monoprinting in the Christmas Monoprinting Workshop and produce a collection of prints to celebrate the season.
Both workshops are for students and adults (18+). Spaces are limited, so book your place today and make this festive season truly creative!
