Unexpected Consequence
Exhibition Opening on 7th November

ADH Gallery, in collaboration with Futuro Gallery, presents the group exhibition “Unexpected Consequence”, bringing together four contemporary artists – Hermione Allsopp, Daniil Antropov, Lilia Li-Mi-Yan, and Katerina Sadovsky – whose practices explore the fragile boundaries between humanity, technology, and transformation in the modern world.
Join us for the opening on November 8th to be one of the first to view the exhibition.
The exhibition examines how rapid technological progress and shifting cultural paradigms reshape our understanding of human experience, authenticity, and emotional reality. Through sculpture, new media, and mixed materials, the artists delve into themes of trauma, nostalgia, post-human aesthetics, and the search for what remains authentically human in an increasingly digitised age.
Curated by ADH Gallery, “Unexpected Consequence” reflects on the unforeseen outcomes of artistic, social, and technological evolution. The exhibition invites viewers to contemplate the layers of reality that form our shared contemporary experience — fragile, complex, and profoundly human.

Hermione Allsopp redefines the role of sculpture by using found and domestic materials to question the notion of beauty and cultural value. Her works transform everyday fragments of personal histories into reflections on memory, loss, and renewal.
Katerina Sadovsky and Lilia Li-Mi-Yan, working in the field of new media, explore the evolution of the human body and identity in a post-human world. Their works critically engage with issues of techno-optimism, ecological anxiety, and the paradox of progress — where technological acceleration contrasts with emotional and ethical stagnation.
Daniil Antropov approaches sculpture as a dialogue between artist and material. His works, crafted from clay and found objects, evoke the vitality and spontaneity of matter itself, embodying a living process of co-creation and transformation.
