Peta izložba NOCKNOCK-a: Identity

Uzbuđeni smo što vas možemo poželjeti dobrodošlicu na Identity, izložbu koja istražuje samoizražavanje, osjećaj pripadnosti i individualnost. Kurirana od strane NOCKNOCK ART-a, Identity promatra kako se predstavljamo svijetu i što uistinu oblikuje ono što jesmo, od sjećanja i kulture do izgleda i osobnog iskustva.

Kroz fotografiju, instalacije, modu i mixed media umjetnost, izložba promišlja o transformaciji i identitetima koje stvaramo i nosimo sa sobom. Pogled ne samo na to tko jesmo, već i na to tko postajemo.

Četvrta izložba NOCKNOCK-a: Second Nature

Četvrta u našem serijalu, Second Nature, trenutak je za promišljanje o našem odnosu sa svijetom koji nas okružuje. Second Nature, kurirana od strane NOCKNOCK ART-a, istražuje sve veću udaljenost između ljudskog ponašanja i prirode te kako je pretjerana potrošnja postala ukorijenjena u svakodnevnom životu.

Kroz radove koji prenamjenjuju materijale ili crpe inspiraciju izravno iz prirodnih procesa, izložba ističe prirodu kao izvor inspiracije, ali i kao poziv na djelovanje, potičući budućnost u kojoj održivost postaje naša druga priroda.

Treća izložba NOCKNOCK-a: WRAPPED (uživo)

Treća u našem serijalu, WRAPPED, bilježi trenutak kada se godina zatvara u samu sebe, vrijeme za razmišljanje, okupljanje i pogled prema onome što dolazi. Kroz različite umjetničke forme istražuje geste i rituale koji obilježavaju ovu tranziciju: kako se nečega držimo, kako puštamo i kako se pripremamo za ono što slijedi.

Više od završetka, WRAPPED je kolektivna stanka, poziv na povezivanje, promišljanje i znatiželju prema novim počecima.

Druga izložba NOCKNOCK-a: Inclusion

Ova izložba stavlja uključivost u svoje središte, okupljajući umjetnike u usponu i etablirane umjetnike iz cijelog svijeta. Kroz slikarstvo, dizajn i druge discipline, radovi istražuju identitet, povezanost i ljepotu različitosti, potičući dijalog i empatiju.

Prva izložba NOCKNOCK-a: New Dimensions

Ova izložba označava ne samo predstavljanje NOCKNOCK Studija, već i pionirsko spajanje različitih umjetničkih formi. „New Dimensions” okuplja radove raznih umjetnika, od zidnih skulptura do fotografije, slikarstva i dizajna, koji brišu granice između disciplina i stvaraju novo, multidimenzionalno umjetničko iskustvo. Izložba istražuje interakciju između materijala i značenja, apstrakcije i realizma, svjetla i sjene.

Svako djelo doprinosi dinamičnoj igri struktura, slojeva i tekstura, pozivajući posjetitelje da umjetnost dožive na inovativne načine. Ovo otvorenje nije samo posvećeno umjetničkim djelima, već i povezivanju umjetnika i publike u zajedničkom kreativnom prostoru.

O NOCKNOCK ART-u

Rođen u prvim danima pandemije, NOCKNOCK Studio inspiriran je intimnošću virtualnih umjetničkih iskustava. Osnivačice Anne Rose i Ciel zamislile su prostor koji premošćuje jaz između umjetnika i ljubitelja umjetnosti, nudeći svjež i inovativan način povezivanja s kreativnošću.

Anne Rose vodi odabir umjetnika, marketing i suradnje, dok Ciel doprinosi svojim iskustvom u brendiranju i operativnom upravljanju. Zajedno su izgradile platformu koja slavi umjetnost kroz dijalog, uključivost i zajednička iskustva.

The exhibition includes works that merge graffiti roots with mathematical precision, blurring the lines between graffiti, graphic design, painting and sculpture, reflecting personal and societal observations while pushing creative boundaries.

PRIDE THROUGH THE LENS

A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Identity and Love by Ernst Coppejans, Arjan Spannenburg and Joel Rodriguez

The largest exhibition of the “Pride Through the Lens” series takes place in Amsterdam where Rodriguez, Spannenburg and Coppejans come together in a group show that examines the intersection of marginalised ethnic cultures and queerness, highlighting the multifaceted nature of identity within the LGBTQ+ community. The photographers offer a nuanced look at how cultural backgrounds influence and enrich LGBTQ+ experiences.

TATTOO EXPRESS

Witness an awe-inspiring display of tattoo artistry, featuring a diverse array of styles, techniques, and designs. From traditional to avant-garde, this expo showcases the best and boldest in the tattoo world with artworks across a variety of mediums from photography and canvas, to framed flash sheets that celebrate iconic tattoos, or the design process behind them.

Urban Wildlife

Urban Wildlife brings together a group of artists working across different mediums to explore the visual connection between animals and urban city life. Often unexpected and at times surrealistic, each creative brings their own approach and style to the subject–from murals to classic gallery work—with each work open to the viewer’s interpretation. We’re proud to present this broadly oriented yet accessible collection to shine a colourful, cheerful light on the darkest months of the year, in the heart of Amsterdam’s urban centre.

We are happy to announce the return of a unique concept – The Holiday Pop-Up Shop, we are filling the amazing 300m2 gallery space with over 200 affordable art from a wide range of art disciplines to let locals and visitors purchase unique gifts for the loved ones over the holidays whilst supporting local artists. Together with Amsterdam Street Art we’re bringing to life this fantastic show to give a well-deserved stage to emerging local artists alongside our established favourites. Photographers, sculptors, illustrators, painters, creative masterminds, digital masters, art students and all in between. The shop will be filled with over 200 artworks from about 80 talented artists.

Street Love

11th August – 17th November 2023

Street Love I A mix-medium show featuring a group of artists who all have a particular, but often varied link to art made on the streets. Artists who graduated from art academy that started exploring their creative path while hitting the streets with spray cans. Creative photographers with a passion for raw textures and capturing the most iconic street sceneries. Illustrators and designers who love to get away from their sketchbook and computers and create stunning work on the streets. And well-established artists that showcase their art in galleries all over the globe, but still embrace their first love, the streets. It’s their personal translation from their own creative path that made them the artists that they are today. Street Love brings a collection of artworks from seven artists showcasing their current level of skills. Sometimes with a clear link to the streets and sometimes requiring the imagination of the viewer to take over.

Artist line-up: Marije Maria, FELEON, Ravian Derriere, Potato and Onion, Luis Sanchez, Ali C. Ambriz, Bondage Bunny.

KINGS & QUEENS

24th July 2023 – 6th August 2023

In official partnership with Pride Amsterdam, the internationally acclaimed photography exhibition, “Kings & Queens”, by Micha Schneijderberg (Snorella WC) and photographer Léon Hendrickx, takes over the art’otel Gallery. The captivating & poignant yet often humorous exhibition, features drag queens from all over the world, bringing the viewer closer to their identity beyond the exhibitionist extravaganza. Each image features two personalities of the same individual laid bare. The man, woman, or else, is intimately embracing their alter ego, the drag king or queen – or is it vice versa?

Abstractalizm

Abrstractalizm, the latest exhibition in the art’otel Gallery is a show that will bring abstract art together with a flavour of urban culture, this time around with a mix of international names combined with our favourite Dutch artists. Abstractalizm will see 6 artists bring this theme to life, with this smaller line up giving each artist the chance to showcase even more works than ever before. Think bold colours, patterns and lines bringing that a much needed injection of life and energy into those darker winter days. The Best Rates Guarantee does not apply to the following rate types:

Qualified discount rates available to members of special programs or associations (i.e. AAA, senior, government, loyalty, employee discounts);
Special “exclusive offers” or “online coupons” or email solicitations not intended for the general public;
Rates not publicly available, such as negotiated Group or Corporate rates; including group extend-the-stay rates;
Package rates that include the room and other components such as parking, travel, car rental, entertainment, or meals excluding breakfast;
Rates found on opaque, bidding, or auction sites where the hotel brand, the specific hotel, the hotel location or price is not known until booking is finalized. Examples of these types of sites include but are not limited to Priceline and Hotwire;
Any other unpublished or private rates or sites requiring login.

Comparison Rates: The Comparison Rate must be found on a website available to be booked by the general public other than Radissonhotels.com within 24 hours of booking your hotel room on Radissonhotels.com and at least 48 hours prior to midnight hotel local time of your arrival date.

The Comparison Rate must be for the same hotel, same reservation date(s), same room type (i.e. room size and amenities), same number of guests, same currency as the Radissonhotels.com confirmation email, and the same advance payment and refund policies and restrictions must apply.

The Comparison Rate must still be available at the time Customer Care validates the claim.

The rates will be compared net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate; however, if the Radissonhotels.com rate has taxes included, we will verify that the total cost of your Comparison Rate is lower so that prices are compared on a relative basis. Rate disparities solely attributable to rounding, fluctuations and/or difference in currency exchange rates are excluded from the Best Rates Guarantee. Claims will be denied when the difference between the Comparison Rate and the rate on Radissonhotels.com is less than 1USD, 1EUR or 1GBP or equivalent in the local currency of the hotel.

When a claim covers a stay for multiple, consecutive nights, the rates will be reviewed based on the average over the entire stay (the total consecutive nights stayed by the same guest or guests in the same hotel, regardless of the number of check-ins or check-outs or separate reservations). Comparison Rates applicable to only a portion of the reservation will not be honored.

If your reservation meets these criteria, let us know by submitting the claim form.

Customer Care will verify the rate meets all of these Best Rates Guarantee terms and conditions and contact you via email. Once confirmed, we will match the lower rate and discount that rate by an additional 25%. For prepaid bookings, the difference will be refunded on the applicable credit card by the hotel. You may only submit one claim for each stay.

If a new reservation confirmation number is provided for the new rate, it must be presented at the hotel at the time of check-in.

The Best Rates Guarantee is void where prohibited by law.

We reserve the right to change or discontinue the Best Rates Guarantee at any time without prior notice. We retain the sole right to determine the validity of any claim, whether a rate qualifies as a Comparison Rate, and whether a claim has satisfied the terms and conditions stated herein. Any dispute arising out of or related to the Best Rates Guarantee shall be handled individually and without any class action and is subject to the terms of the site usage agreement found on Radissonhotels.com.
