Quinta Mostra di NOCKNOCK: Identity

Siamo lieti di darti il benvenuto a Identity, una mostra che esplora l’espressione di sé, il senso di appartenenza e l’individualità. Curata da NOCKNOCK ART, Identity riflette su come ci presentiamo al mondo e su ciò che realmente plasma chi siamo, dai ricordi e dalla cultura all’aspetto esteriore e alle esperienze personali.

Attraverso fotografia, installazioni, moda e opere mixed media, la mostra indaga la trasformazione e le identità che costruiamo e portiamo con noi nel tempo. Uno sguardo non solo a chi siamo, ma anche a chi diventiamo.

Quarta Mostra di NOCKNOCK: Second Nature

La quarta mostra della nostra serie, Second Nature, invita a riflettere sul rapporto tra l’essere umano e il mondo che lo circonda. Curata da NOCKNOCK ART, l’esposizione esplora la crescente distanza tra il comportamento umano e la natura, e come il consumo eccessivo sia diventato parte integrante della vita quotidiana.

Attraverso opere che reinterpretano materiali esistenti o traggono ispirazione direttamente dai processi naturali, la mostra mette in luce la natura sia come fonte d’ispirazione sia come invito all’azione. Second Nature incoraggia una visione del futuro in cui la sostenibilità diventi una seconda natura.

Terza Mostra di NOCKNOCK: WRAPPED (live)

La terza mostra della nostra serie, WRAPPED, cattura il momento in cui l’anno si ripiega su sé stesso: un tempo per riflettere, ritrovarsi e guardare avanti. Attraverso diverse forme artistiche, l’esposizione esplora i gesti e i rituali che accompagnano questa transizione, osservando come conserviamo ciò che conta, lasciamo andare il passato e ci prepariamo a ciò che verrà.

Più che una conclusione, WRAPPED è una pausa collettiva: un invito alla connessione, alla riflessione e alla curiosità verso nuovi inizi

Questa mostra pone l’inclusione al centro della sua visione, riunendo artisti emergenti e affermati provenienti da tutto il mondo. Attraverso la pittura, il design e altre discipline artistiche, le opere esplorano temi come l’identità, la connessione e la bellezza della diversità, invitando al dialogo e all’empatia.

In un momento in cui la connessione è più importante che mai, art’otel e NOCKNOCK ART celebrano la creatività in tutte le sue forme, creando uno spazio in cui ognuno possa sentirsi visto, ascoltato e rappresentato.

Prima Mostra di NOCKNOCK: New Dimensions

Questa mostra segna non solo il debutto di NOCKNOCK Studio, ma anche un’innovativa fusione tra diverse forme artistiche. New Dimensions riunisce le opere di numerosi artisti, dalle sculture da parete alla fotografia, dalla pittura al design, superando i confini tra le discipline e dando vita a un’esperienza artistica nuova e multidimensionale.

L’esposizione esplora il dialogo tra materiale e significato, astrazione e realismo, luce e ombra. Ogni opera contribuisce a un dinamico intreccio di strutture, livelli e texture, invitando i visitatori a scoprire l’arte attraverso prospettive innovative.

Questa inaugurazione non celebra soltanto le opere in mostra, ma anche l’incontro tra artisti e pubblico in uno spazio creativo condiviso.

Chi è NOCKNOCK ART

Nato nei primi giorni della pandemia, NOCKNOCK Studio è stato ispirato dall’intimità delle esperienze artistiche virtuali. Le fondatrici, Anne Rose e Ciel, hanno immaginato uno spazio capace di colmare la distanza tra artisti e amanti dell’arte, offrendo un modo nuovo e innovativo di entrare in contatto con la creatività.

Anne Rose si occupa della selezione degli artisti, del marketing e delle collaborazioni, mentre Ciel apporta la sua esperienza nel branding e nella gestione operativa. Insieme hanno costruito una piattaforma che celebra l’arte attraverso il dialogo, l’inclusione e le esperienze condivise.

Oggi, NOCKNOCK ART continua a creare opportunità di incontro tra artisti e pubblico, promuovendo la creatività come strumento di connessione, scoperta e ispirazione.

Incoraggiando l’esplorazione e l’innovazione, la mostra riunisce una schiera di artisti diversi e di talento, ognuno dei quali contribuisce con la propria visione e creatività alla galleria. Questi artisti, provenienti da diversi contesti e culture, incarnano lo spirito dinamico e innovativo della street art contemporanea.
L’esposizione comprende opere che fondono le radici dei graffiti con la precisione matematica, sfumando i confini tra graffiti, design grafico, pittura e scultura, riflettendo osservazioni personali e sociali e spingendosi oltre i confini creativi.

PRIDE THROUGH THE LENS

Una celebrazione dell’identità e dell’amore LGBTQ+ di Ernst Coppejans, Arjan Spannenburg e Joel Rodriguez

La più grande mostra della serie “Pride Through the Lens” si svolge ad Amsterdam, dove Rodriguez, Spannenburg e Coppejans si riuniscono in una collettiva che esamina l’intersezione tra culture etniche emarginate e queerness, evidenziando la natura sfaccettata dell’identità all’interno della comunità LGBTQ+. I fotografi offrono uno sguardo ricco di sfumature su come i contesti culturali influenzino e arricchiscano le esperienze LGBTQ+.

Urban Wildlife

Urban Wildlife brings together a group of artists working across different mediums to explore the visual connection between animals and urban city life. Often unexpected and at times surrealistic, each creative brings their own approach and style to the subject–from murals to classic gallery work—with each work open to the viewer’s interpretation. We’re proud to present this broadly oriented yet accessible collection to shine a colourful, cheerful light on the darkest months of the year, in the heart of Amsterdam’s urban centre.

We are happy to announce the return of a unique concept – The Holiday Pop-Up Shop, we are filling the amazing 300m2 gallery space with over 200 affordable art from a wide range of art disciplines to let locals and visitors purchase unique gifts for the loved ones over the holidays whilst supporting local artists. Together with Amsterdam Street Art we’re bringing to life this fantastic show to give a well-deserved stage to emerging local artists alongside our established favourites. Photographers, sculptors, illustrators, painters, creative masterminds, digital masters, art students and all in between. The shop will be filled with over 200 artworks from about 80 talented artists.

Street Love

11th August – 17th November 2023

Street Love I A mix-medium show featuring a group of artists who all have a particular, but often varied link to art made on the streets. Artists who graduated from art academy that started exploring their creative path while hitting the streets with spray cans. Creative photographers with a passion for raw textures and capturing the most iconic street sceneries. Illustrators and designers who love to get away from their sketchbook and computers and create stunning work on the streets. And well-established artists that showcase their art in galleries all over the globe, but still embrace their first love, the streets. It’s their personal translation from their own creative path that made them the artists that they are today. Street Love brings a collection of artworks from seven artists showcasing their current level of skills. Sometimes with a clear link to the streets and sometimes requiring the imagination of the viewer to take over.

Artist line-up: Marije Maria, FELEON, Ravian Derriere, Potato and Onion, Luis Sanchez, Ali C. Ambriz, Bondage Bunny.

KINGS & QUEENS

24th July 2023 – 6th August 2023

In official partnership with Pride Amsterdam, the internationally acclaimed photography exhibition, “Kings & Queens”, by Micha Schneijderberg (Snorella WC) and photographer Léon Hendrickx, takes over the art’otel Gallery. The captivating & poignant yet often humorous exhibition, features drag queens from all over the world, bringing the viewer closer to their identity beyond the exhibitionist extravaganza. Each image features two personalities of the same individual laid bare. The man, woman, or else, is intimately embracing their alter ego, the drag king or queen – or is it vice versa?

Abstractalizm, la recente mostra proposta alla galleria art’otel ha fuso l’arte astratta con un tocco di cultura urbana, questa volta con un mix di nomi internazionali mescolati insieme ai nostri artisti olandesi preferiti. Abstractalizm ha visto la partecipazione di 6 artisti che hanno trattato questo tema, e il fatto che la formazione fosse più piccola ha dato la possibilità a ogni artista di esporre anche più lavori del consueto. Colori, pattern e linee audaci che donano l’iniezione di vita ed energia tanto anelata nei giorni invernali più oscuri. La mostra era visitabile tutti i giorni dalle ore 11 alle 23 presso la galleria art’otel, art’otel Amsterdam.

Your reservation must be made on Radissonhotels.com and claim must be validated by our Customer Care team.

The Best Rates Guarantee does not apply to the following rate types:

Qualified discount rates available to members of special programs or associations (i.e. AAA, senior, government, loyalty, employee discounts);
Special “exclusive offers” or “online coupons” or email solicitations not intended for the general public;
Rates not publicly available, such as negotiated Group or Corporate rates; including group extend-the-stay rates;
Package rates that include the room and other components such as parking, travel, car rental, entertainment, or meals excluding breakfast;
Rates found on opaque, bidding, or auction sites where the hotel brand, the specific hotel, the hotel location or price is not known until booking is finalized. Examples of these types of sites include but are not limited to Priceline and Hotwire;
Any other unpublished or private rates or sites requiring login.

Comparison Rates: The Comparison Rate must be found on a website available to be booked by the general public other than Radissonhotels.com within 24 hours of booking your hotel room on Radissonhotels.com and at least 48 hours prior to midnight hotel local time of your arrival date.

The Comparison Rate must be for the same hotel, same reservation date(s), same room type (i.e. room size and amenities), same number of guests, same currency as the Radissonhotels.com confirmation email, and the same advance payment and refund policies and restrictions must apply.

The Comparison Rate must still be available at the time Customer Care validates the claim.

The rates will be compared net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate; however, if the Radissonhotels.com rate has taxes included, we will verify that the total cost of your Comparison Rate is lower so that prices are compared on a relative basis. Rate disparities solely attributable to rounding, fluctuations and/or difference in currency exchange rates are excluded from the Best Rates Guarantee. Claims will be denied when the difference between the Comparison Rate and the rate on Radissonhotels.com is less than 1USD, 1EUR or 1GBP or equivalent in the local currency of the hotel.

When a claim covers a stay for multiple, consecutive nights, the rates will be reviewed based on the average over the entire stay (the total consecutive nights stayed by the same guest or guests in the same hotel, regardless of the number of check-ins or check-outs or separate reservations). Comparison Rates applicable to only a portion of the reservation will not be honored.

If your reservation meets these criteria, let us know by submitting the claim form.

Customer Care will verify the rate meets all of these Best Rates Guarantee terms and conditions and contact you via email. Once confirmed, we will match the lower rate and discount that rate by an additional 25%. For prepaid bookings, the difference will be refunded on the applicable credit card by the hotel. You may only submit one claim for each stay.

If a new reservation confirmation number is provided for the new rate, it must be presented at the hotel at the time of check-in.

The Best Rates Guarantee is void where prohibited by law.

We reserve the right to change or discontinue the Best Rates Guarantee at any time without prior notice. We retain the sole right to determine the validity of any claim, whether a rate qualifies as a Comparison Rate, and whether a claim has satisfied the terms and conditions stated herein.
